Scene 3: Corridor and Alleyway

We filmed this scene using a handheld camera with a weight on the bottom which acted as a pendulum. This kept the camera steady but also allowed us to move freely. This meant that we needed several attempts to get shots that were steady and professional looking. However, once these clips were edited together it created a scene that worked effectively.

When editing these clips together we found that those scenes filmed outside in the strong wind had a loud whistling noise in the background. We tried various things in Premiere Pro to remove it but decided that the easiest thing was to remove the noise altogether. Fortunately, there was no dialogue in this scene.

Finally, we had our actress put her hair up into a bobble at the end because in subsequent scenes she has her hair in this style. This was to preserve the continuity of the film.
