Initial Ideas...



As you can see I have used photoshop on this image. I first gave the image a surface blur to make the image look more professional and make the skin look shiny. I have also then brightened up the image on photoshop to make the image again look more professional. I have also chopped around the image of my and added an all blue background, that matched my models shirt.

Development: As you can see Dream in the second photo clearly stands out much more than the initial photo. The yellow and blue stand out much more than pinky/brown in the previous image. And in both images you cant see the writing underneath Creetown line up so this was another reason I changed my magazine.



Initially I decided to do a county/folky type of magazine using the billboard magazine front cover as my inspiration, I called the magazine Dream and it was very much orientated towards a slightly younger audience than what had come back in my questionnaire, also the magazine lacked professionalism so I decided to change my model, style of magazine and went with a more alternative indie magazine aimed more at 16-18 year olds.
