Comments on other people's work

For Group 13, i thought that the double page spread was really good. The colours fit the theme of "country" music, and it looks natural and fresh. The model in the picture suits the genre, and the background is in a field, so the picture looks "at one with nature.

The contents page that Group 26 has created looks fitting for pop music and would definitely appeal to those interested in pop music. There is a lot of information and there's a band index, which is good, because then the reader feels as though they get lots of stories, features and band information for their money.

For Group 7, i like the front cover, as the magazine title "Unplugged" seems catchy and snappy. The magazine's genre is indie, and the model appears to fit this genre and looks appropriate for the magazine. The stories on the front cover would appeal to the target audience which seems to be teenagers. For example, a feature is "Top 10 new indie bands to see". This kind of feature wouldn't appeal to those not interested in "indie" music or going to concerts.
