Magazine name colour

When I had decided on the font for the name of my magazine, I considered the colour. I made a choice to try out a few different colours to decide if my magazine colour scheme was right for what I was doing, and also how I thought the magazine name looked best.
I looked what my magazine name looked like in black, and I decided that although I liked it, it didn't really look as exciting and instantly noticable as I would like it to be.

Then I tried my magazine name in a dark blue colour. Although it was against my decided colour scheme I thought I would play around with what looks best. I decided that I didn't really like this colour and that I should stay with my original colour scheme of black, white and red.

I then tried the red coloured font that I was considering originally. I believe that red will be my final decision for my magazine name on my front cover, but I am going to make it a less bright red because I believe this is too bright for my cover and I was thinking of a darker coloured red for my colour scheme.

I made the colour of red a few shades darker and I think that this looks better for my front cover. I also think that it stands out but isn't too severe a colour, which is perfect for my magazine front cover. I am going to stick to the colour scheme of this shade of red, black and white.
