Magazine Costs...

I created a questionnaire to find the average prices my target audience would be willing to pay for a weekly music magazine. Firstly, I looked at current music magazines and how much they cost. I found Kerrange costs £2.20, NME costs £2.30, Q costs £3.90 and Smash Hits £1.90.
I posed the question 'How much would you be willing to pay for a weekly music magazine' to twenty members of my class. The results were:
Less than £1.50 = 2 people
£1.50 - £2.50 - 12 people
£2.50 - £3.50 - 4 people
£3.50+ 2 people
From my results I can see most people are willing to pay between £1.50 and £2.50. This is the price range for popular magazines Kerrang, NME and Smash Hits. As my magazine is a combination of these types of magazine, I will use this as a guideline and price my magazine £2.30.
