Double Page Spread Analysis...

This is a double page spread on the band The Teenagers taken from NME magazine. The spread is split in half with on side dominated by an image and the other by text. The black and white colours of the article are shown in the clothe sthe band are wearing. The use of larger capitalised letters at the beginning of the article makes the text more asthetically pleasing. The use of features in different parts of the spread, printed on angles etc makes the page appear more exciting and as if there is more to the page.

This is the layout for my double page spread. I plan to use a large image on the left hand side of the page similar to the spread from NME above. I intend to use a number of paragraphs with larger, bold letters to begin each one. This will break down the large chunk of text making it more accessible for busy teenagers. I also need to include conventions such as the date, page number, name of the act and name of the magazine.
