I tested using a black background as I didn't want to make the page overly busy but there were some empty spaces. I added swirls to the bars containing the subheading to connect it too the front page which displeys similar swirls. The editors 'signature' works well and looks realistic however I think this could be improves by adding an image of 'the editor'. I used another image which I edited using textures in photoshop and used it to fill the gap. I changed the page numbers from green to white as I split to contents into three sections and the middle section uses majority white text/ shapes so it fitted in better.
