
From this magazine we can clearly see that this is for a much younger audience as the page is flooded with different stories pictures and has may swirls and different patterns all over it for example the lovehearts next to the image of JLS. We can clearly see the audience in which Top of the Pops is trying to attract, they are trying to attract 9 - 13 year old girls who are very girly and are interested in people like Zac Efron, Hannah Montana, Alexandra Burke and The Jonas brothers.
The colour of the magazine is very girl orientated as it is pink and purple very stereotypical colours of a young teenage girl.
This magazine would appeal to younger audiences because the stories are very much aimed at a younger audience as they talk about things such as first kisses, going on dates, how to beat bullies and love.
The outfits and facial expressions of the people in the magazine are also clearly for a younger audience as all the models are smiling and wearing clothes that young girls will wear and like.
When comparing this magazine to KERRANG we can see the definite differences between the two and why each one appears to its target audiences.
