Preliminary Tasks

We decided to complete the film and the radio prelim tasks to see which one we thought would be best to do for our final coursework piece.

First we completed the film task which involved making a short clip including a match on action shot, shot/reverse shot and the 180-degree rule.

Next we completed the radio preliminary task. For this we had to make a 30-40 second radio clip including an introductory jingle, a guest speaker and an archive sound clip relating to that guest.

After completing both tasks we had to decide which one we would most like to do for our coursework project.

Although we enjoyed filming and scripting our film piece we thought that radio would be the best aspect to choose.

However, we were able to use skills we learnt in the film making process whilst completing our final piece, such as recording a voice over while adding in sound effects and distorting the voice...therefore helping us to complete our radio jingle.
