Banner of the front cover.

I decided to use a banner at the top of my front cover page. I think that this will make it look like a real magazine. For my banner I included a bar code and the title along with a feature I would include in my magazine. Here is my banner:

I think this creates a professional look, because of the 'Reboard' font I used, but is also quite grungy because all the text is close together. The barcode also helps to make the magazine look real. I also added another banner at the top of the page to help with the grunge feel.

This banner will be on top of the other one. I feel that the colour contrast will make it look distinctive. This banner is grungier than the previous one because of the font I used. I wanted it to be contrasting to the other one. The font I used was 'Masterplan' from www.dafont.com.

This is the font I used, I think it creates a grunge theme because of the distorted effect on the letters. It is very contrasting to the earlier 'Reboard' font. I think it makes the banner look more interesting. Here is my final banner with annotations.

The overall feel for the banner is very professional, I think it creates the effect I wanted.
