I found the text I used wasn't clear due to the white writing placed directly on top of the pale background so I added a black stroke to the text to make it stand out.
Many magazines use a bar across the bottom of the cover to show other bands featured in the artical as a further selling point. I used a plus symbol instead of writing 'plus' in the way many magazines do. I used the symbol again to separate the bands and added pink lines through the bar as the extra details add to the overall image of the magazine. The colour contrast also draws attention and juxtaposes the pale background. The artists I included fitted the pop-indie genre of my magazine. I included a price for my magazine based on the prices of similar ones and included the price in other countries as is conventional magazines in general.
