Research - Contents page features

Here is the contents page of 'Kerrang!'

In this magazine, I like the layout and structure of the contents page. I believe it is effective as it shows the main images of the articles that the audience would want to read and find exciting.

I think for my own magazine, I will do something similar and pair the main (cover) article with an image that is slightly larger than the others on the contents page, therefore they will stand out and be more instantly eye-catching and attention grabbing for the reader.
