Through analysing music magazines from a variety of genres I have found certain conventions that work and are popular. Using a central image to dominate the page attracts the readers attention as well as the use of bright colours is a popular idea. To give my magazine a more realistic, professional finish i need to include a barcode, price, date and issue number. Using outlines on text is a popular way of making text more visible and stand-out.
