This is my preliminary front cover. I started by taking my photographs in a white background studio. This meant the main focus of the magazine was on the model and the text around, and I would not need to be too particular about the colours I used as they would stand out on the white background, not blending into the background if I used an outside setting.
I used a blue colour scheme so it would be colour co-ordinated making my magazine look appealing to my audience. The difference in the colour shades and fonts create effect and contrast.
With the main features in different fonts, it makes them stand out immediately.
I have used stories and features that will appeal to my target audience (college students) and can be easily related to. Another reason my magazine would appeal to my target audience would be because Pixie Lott is used as one of the features. Pixie is a young, popular popstar who is loved by many, girls and boys.
