Front Cover Mock Up

This is a very basic mock up of how I would like my front cover to look.

The image of the trumpet player originally looked like this...

So, I deleted the background using the Eraser Tool, to get a cleaner, crisper look. When I put the image onto my front cover template, the white background looked boring so using the Gradient Tool a added grey to white which made it look a bit more interesting. The Backbeat was just done with a text box. Then I drew a black rectangle and found the image of the Jazz Orchestra, which already had a black background. I thought it looked good with angling it to make it more interesting.
